Frequently asked questions
When must my resignation arrive?
By the last day before the notice period starts. With 2 months to the end of April, by the last day of February.
Do I have to give a reason?
No. The employer may ask for written reasons (Art. 335 para. 2 CO) – and so may you.
Do the protection periods during illness apply to me?
No. The protection periods under Art. 336c CO only protect against dismissal by the employer.
